now how funny is it that this site is the only site willing to listen to the "can i rock 20s" without thinking they mean the 1920s?.. hahahaha

22x10s (billet rim so it measures 22x11) will fit a stock wheel well with the lips shaved a little bit. 285/30/22 tire also

Sounds and looks like a great choice for a 18" drag radial if it will actually hook.
Nitto's drag radials are pretty decent but I don't know much about that particular size,Bill. A 305/45 sounds kinda tall, though.

i have them on my T/A, and traction is limited to say the least.

This is all good info guys, I am glad to hear they have poor traction Slownova.
My next build is going to be (gasp!) street and strip so while appearance is important, function will override looks. ETs will be very important, and I can always bolt on other wheels/tires for posing.

I think that the 555r's have decent traction but what makes them so desireable it for a r compound tire it lasts awhile.. but i'll always be partial to the bfg drag radials.... of course they don't last for anything...

any radial based tire or any tire for that fact with a short sidewall will give poor performance, which im sure you all know. the nitto however when new is one best ive had. but after its warn down a slight bit, its worthless, and its not cheap.

Hey Bill I did a set of Intro's 18x10's with a 5" backspace. I had to narrow the rear end about 5/8". Also I trimmed the quarter lip a little. But it looks nice! The tires are the Nitto 305/45/18 dr's.

Any pictures from the rear? I am glad to hear you have stuffed 305s under it.
How much room do you have for clearance inboard?

Also, any pictures of the front wheels/clearances?
What size are the fronts and offsets too? Would you change offsets if you could?

      Thanks for all the info.

      Tino,
We need more pictures and information your combo looks sweet, the tires fill the fenderwells nicely.
