Yes that is an LS1. If you pull it take EVERYTHING... Computer, harness, trans, everything you can think of. If you can store the truck intact, until you do a swap, that is a good way to have everything at hand when you need it.
As far as putting it in your Stang, that's sacrilege... Do-able yes, but sacrilege... Would make resale on the car tough in my opinion.
