Ya Nate it was great to meet you!

I know convertible Camaro guy won the autocross, and I'm pretty sure you were second there
He also tied me in the stop box - 4.26! But, ties are decided by HP results, and I had that covered.
So it was real close...That dyno pull locked it up for me. It was the event I won and it served to be my tiebraker on the stop box. That 4.26 is a new record he and I share now.

You will definitely be a contender next year- you've got it all dialed in and you just need to turn up the wick on the turbo and touch 600 hp at the wheels. Then dial it back for the autocross and stop box. You did really well this year Nate!

LOTS to share with you, Derek! Can't wait to see you out there next year with the new drivetrain installed. You and Nate will both be strong contenders, and I'm confident the guy in the '69 Camaro will be back too. Maybe he'll have learned that a big-block in a convertible isn't the best-possible way to win this thing. He did well, but...

Thanks Neil! It might be the only wagon that will ever have a chance to win. The autocross course is super tight and really gives an advantage to shorter wheelbase cars. It's a challenge just to get through it with a LWB wagon without hitting any cones....let alone being competitive. I picked up more than 2 seconds on the autocross over the weekend, and was still a second off the pace.

Luckily for me, they weigh each of the 3 elements in the competition evenly...at least for now. They may weigh the autocross more heavily in the future, which means it'll be almost impossible for a wagon to ever win again. It was tough enough already.

Yea tough to compete on the autox course simply due to the wheelbase. Although I think it helps on the road course with stability. In the end you had fun doing what you want with what you wanted to do it with. There are also more of us coming out of the woodwork. Seems we might be infront of the trend.
