I am thinking that this is going to test your fabrication skills. It really isn't that difficult to make if you have access to a mill. The shifter in the trans is just a regular Tremec/Borg Warner deal with the handle unbolted and the adapter for the extension rod bolted in the handles place. The rest is basicly what you see.

The set-up that you show costs about $1500.00 total. Other things can be done to cut costs out of it. We had this same set-up in our shop in Missouri. The handle is fabricated from Delrin and the aluminum bar-stock can be re-fabricated using tubing. The rod is the key and needs to be beefy as flex is the enemy in this situation. I'll look for the prints and share them with you.

That part that attaches to the trans. could be made from channel or angle.

This should be failry straight forward to fabricate... I mean... you have the blueprint right in front of you

you could just buy the one from Mustangs Plus. I have two of them and just built my own bridge extension to suit my arm length.

      $1500 for that?
      damn..
wouldn't it just be easier to make/buy a shifter handle that lays back to where you want the knob? up until a couple of years ago, many NASCAR Cup cars had a shifter handle that layed way back like that. but i suppose the amount of travel wouldn't lend itself to fast and easy shifting under racing conditions..
