lovin the new set up
i know it's a small step but i can't stop looking at it. NEW boss 338's, falken 452 tires 285-35-18 rear, 235-40-18 front QA1 Coilovers in front, BMR 2" drop springs, Hotchkis (bilstein) shocks. handles so much better!

the ride is so much better than where it was with the stock setup. i have the QA1's at about 3/4 of the cranked up. haven't played with the adjuster much yet but i am very happy. before i could go around the clover leafs at a constant 40mph before the car got fidgety, now i can do 60mph, maybe more. the biggest drawback is the steering sticks out like a sore thumb because it's still stock. brakes too.

i recently rode in my friends 2003 bmw 535i and the feel was similar but the beemer soaked up bumps much better. i wonder how much more the suspension will improve with tubular a-arms upper and lower? i am still blown away by how much better just doing coilovers, drop springs and shocks do to a stock suspension on a chevelle. still lovin it all.

the suspension settled more and got even lower. yikes!

I think freeing up the bushings and improving the geometry will have more to do with soaking up the bumps. Proper geometry and steel bushings will soak up bumps better than stock geometry with rubber bushings.
