At the end of the day, it's the driver then the car. Tweaking is a huge part of it and that means tweaking to the drivers liking. DSE just makes it that much easier.

Hey Brian the build looks awesome and I'm sure that's going to be one hell of a happy customer in the end....

Now as far as Penny goes, that's a really well sorted car,,, Steve however brings up a good point DSE builds some really awesome product....Combine this with my crazy buddy Brian's fabrication capabilities, driving style and track record and I'd guess that Steve your in for a real challenge this year buddy. This is one match I'll be watching personally and can't wait to see the out come.

Great, now I have to tell the customer he needs more power.

He did just build a nasty 408 LS motor with Dart heads and a huge Whipple charger. Maybe we swap that in and get this over.

lol.. yea, we're just like Russia and the US back in the 50s..

By the end of tomorrow Penny will be almost a shell.. then we start the rebuild. Gotta keep the old girl fresh. Like I always say, done is no fun.

Can't wait to see this ride get done, and you know I've already called dibs on shooting it for the magazine.

      Hey Brian,

Congrats on the project! You've got a great start there...

BTW, I just read an article in the March issue of Hot Rod magazine and was surprised there was NO horsepower loss when going from a Dry Sump to Wet Sump on a LS7... The old adage of less windage and rotating mass through the oil making more power doesn't seem to be the case with this motor... In the article there was even a slight HP gain...

It could be different in a racing car instead of on an Engine Dyno but maybe not...

On my project I'm going to attempt to use a wet sump pan with an external cooler and Oil Accumulator setup to ward against the starvation possibility...

      Keep up the GREAT work!
