Man, I'm green with envy!!! My brother used to have a gold Chevelle when I was a young boy. (That has been quite a number of years ago.) His was a Malibu model with a 307/automatic combo with a black interior. I would very much like to build a similar car for him for either Christmas or his birthday. Naturally, this car would be built with a Pro-Touring vibe.

A lot going on in a very nice home shop! I am very surprised you found that nice of a chevelle. Especially in Minnesota. I see 10 year old vehicles rusted away from there. Keep up the very nice work!

      Why half-ass it?
Just kidding, I thought I knew something after 30 years of screwing with hot rods.....I now see I know next to nothing, what a shop you have and man the fabrication skills are awe-inspiring. I've been using my 3D drawing skills to design parts lately and making use of local 3D printing services for test-fits before cutting metal. Since you have everything else might as well get a 3D printer.
      Outstanding!

i found and old conveyor on craigs list and decided to build a frame building jig. to implement what i learned from Ron Sutton's workshop so it looks like the Chevelle is going under the knife again! hoping to get this pile of recycled material to use to give it a new life!

learning to draw in cad. and put it to use on a cnc plasma table.also learning how to use that too!

well the Chevelle is disassembled and moved to another bay. just about done with phase one of the fab.table and should be back on the Chevelle on the table this weekend! i never in a million years would have thought building a fab table would have taking this long but i really should not be surprised my projects tend to spiral out of control!

finally! it is time to get some work done on the Chevelle again! fabbed up some pans to trim off the HPI. frame kit to help keep the turbulence down at 200mph. lol. used a manual bead roller with tipping dies then machined a die for punching and counter sinking the mounting holes and used a small manual arbor press.now to figure out how to mount them.

it it really amazing how life can change your directions constantly! I have been plagued by family trama, drama, quadruple murder suicide and completely buried with home remodeling and kid projects and scored a great deal on a lathe and have been modifying it to fit in the shop so progress on the Chevelle chassis.finally ready to do something on this thing again!

I don't say much on here but I've been following you're awesome work.
After reading you're post, I wasn't sure if this was a bit of sarcasm but for some reason I feel as though it isn't.

For what its worth from one stranger to another.
I hope and pray that you and your family are doing ok.
Life has a crazy way of throwing things at us.
Hold your head high, your family tight and keep on going.
      There are brighter days ahead.

I'm watching your build closely. Love your work.
