I'd say this one since it's 4 pages long but who knows. Maybe an admin will chime in.

Was reading the chat room over there and had to agree with something someone posted. They are building this really nice car, with a ton of really nice, high end parts, but they put the cheapest Chinese hunk of junk air cleaner on it? Guess its a sponsor driven build, but that's just cheap!

I understand what you're saying, that the 48 hour build marketing may be a bit typical , but how can this particular car be cookie cutter if it's the only one like it ? It's the first one , using new products on the suspension .
      Actually, I like the 48hour build, I think it's great .

So when did they finish? I went to bed at 12:30 and they were still not close. No streaming so what is the current status?

They just stopped streaming about an hour ago or less. Last I saw it was still not finished, but very close. I had my sound off so I was not able to hear what they were saying before they stopped streaming.

I watched until about 10:30 pm mountain time. What stopped the progress?

I watched a bit today, but without sound.

I like the build and am sad to see that they ran into difficulties that ran beyond schedule. But we've all been there.

that car is as far from Cookie Cutter as can be. besides the body, every thing is modified. Until you build one yourself and go through what they did/are you don't understand.

Man aint that the truth!! I spent many years watching everyone build their cars and never truly appreciated all of the hard work until I built my car. After watching this build, I think it would take me 3 years on my own to do what they have done and it wouldn't be near as nice. Really looking forward to the finished product!!

We stopped the live broadcast because frankly, we had to return the rented video equipment. We will provide regular updates with pics and video. We are still working on the car. Recent progress: headlites work, wipers work, e brake works, harness bar in, rear remote shock reservoirs mounted to the harness bar, doors installed, brake line fixed and rebled, console made, seats installed. Next up...install doors, set ride height, do an alignment, weigh car, take to bowling green to chassis dyno at holley. More later...thanks so much for watching!
