I can't believe nobody wants to help me!

I posted this topic last week in the "wanted" section but I got 0 reactions.
Can anybody please tape this show for me Thusday the 5th!
      Thanks Pro-touring friends.
      Bram

I was at Chip Foose’s shop a few weeks ago and I saw a rendering of a blue 67 or 68 Camaro.
I was told this Camaro will feature in the 5th season of the Overhaulin tv show.

Foose was not there so I could not get additional info about this car.

Since I am in the Netherlands and we just started Overhaulin’s first season I would like to ask if someone can tape (on DVD) this episode for me and send it to me.

Just saw there is an episode with a 67 on June 5th!!!!! (http://www.tvguide.com/detail/tv-sho...sodeid=7951501)

Who can help me and record this episode on DVD?

Due to copywright issues I believe it would be illegal for anybody to actually tape it and ship it to you. I am not entirely sure, but that is my understanding of the situation.

I've set my DVR to record this season, although I haven't yet seen a first gen yet. I could possibly grab it off my DVR as an MPEG movie and send it your way once it airs.

no copy right problems unless you try to broadcast it or sell it.

I don't think you can do it because of the software involved. The Neatherlands uses a different format/region then the United States uses. If someone were to burn it onto a DVD for him here in the States it wouldn't play on his DVD player. Unless I'm wrong.

You are right, but a lot of european DVD players are dual format. I'm actually thinking about geting one for here because there are a lot of cool vids that don't come over here....not that kind of video...

      Overhaulin Camaro

Look at that. This is the kind of reaction I hoped for!!

My DVD player is dual zone so a DVD is no problem.
Uploading by email or from a website is also an option as long as it is not to many Gb’s

So either way or maybe both ways is even better to make sure I get this episode.

Thanks guys, I knew there would be at least more than one pro-touring buddy to help me out!

Yeah, it's still on. It still sucks though. Gotta DVR it, and then there's about 10 minutues of actual watchable show. LOL.

Finally, someone who agrees with me. I feel this season is much worse than the others. I like to see the design and the finished car. They don't show much worth watching in between. They tend to focus more on people goofing off than what they're actually working on.

what more can they do now that everyone knows what they do. They should just do a cool show showing how to build cool cars and get rid of everything else we dont care about it. I just want to see how and what they did like the rest of you guys.

I saw a rendering of that 67 Camaro you are talking about at a local chrome shop (Artistic Sliver Plating) that does a lot of Fooses chrome. They had a bunch of renderings of past and upcoming episodes of OverHaulin. If it's the same one I saw, it is blue with 2 white rally stripes that don't drop off the hood, but instead turn into a nose stripe. It looks like he took the standard RS rally stripes, blended them with the single nose stripe. Kind of hard to explain in word, but the rendering pulled it off and it looks good.
