well I don't know how time goes buy so fast but it just flys by! I have had one of the worst years ever for things going wrong in unforeseen ways and going to school for 3d cad. design so there has not been any time to get some work done on the chevelle. well it looks like it is time to get back to it! the original radiator was offset from center from the factory and was just not going to work out with my symmetrical design so I ordered a custom radiator from Northern Radiator and now its time to make it work!

You really don't want all of the air that passes through the radiator to be forced to go through the fans. When the car is moving, the fans won't even kick on, and with that shroud the air has no other place to go. If you look on the Spal dual 12" fan set-up, you will see that it has flaps over and under the fans that allow air to flow through.

You did nice work, but if it was me, I would cut holes in the angles parts of the shroud. Also, why are the fans so far from the radiator core? Are you even going to have room for the fans? The fans should be right up against the core, this is how all OEM fans are mounted.

Andrew this is work in progress and is no done in any way shape or form,just kicking through some ides in my head.and there is more to come on this not really sure if i would agree with the fans against the radiator thing to be true. it is a flow thing and this has no downfall to having the fans back further as long as the flow directs through the radiator the way this is designed it will help flow it through the fans and not make air do 90 deg. sharp corners. stay tuned for more on this.

I think the fan shroud will work fine. Air flow through the radiator is about pressure differential, and the fans aren't going to trap high pressure air on the back side when they are off.

picked up a bender about a year ago and I thing it is time to get this thing together and put it to use!

also adding a Swag off road gear air over hyd.kit to it hope to get this done in the next week! I just painted everything and now to make a base for it!

Yea finally finished the bender well almost still a couple of mods to make it work for my application so now it is time to get some use out of this thing!

well this has been a really challenging task! designing a new rear frame section that matches the contours of the factory floor and be wider than the factory rails so i can design a bigger gas tank or possibly 2 tanks,make it strong enough to pull a camper trailer and make it look good to too.still undecided what to do with the link bars. 3 bar and a watts link or relocated factory bars?????? any ideas on this????????

made some progress on the rear frame section this ended up being a pain in my azz but I think this part is designed in my head and making progress on it one weld at a time! still kicking myself in the azz for being such an idiot for taking this rust free can and cutting everything off and discarding it! but I am to far in to turn back now!
