I'll spare you the long version of this story but classic auto glass innovations have been horrible to deal with. Robert does not answer the phone or return messages once you have placed an order and paid him. It has been 30 days since I placed my order for glass that was supposedly shipping out the next day and I have still not received it and he will not send me a tracking number.

I've been in contact with Robert recently and he says he has the kits in stock now. I'm going to be placing an order shortly.

So I heard at SEMA that a 2nd gen Camaro glass kit is in the works from a couple of different sources. Does anybody know who or where?

This may be a little late for you, I flush mounted the glass in my second gen. I did make the opening smaller and raised the glass. I raised the glass 1/4 inch and made the opening smaller 1/4 inch all the way around and used just the standard glass. I just used a standard moulding around the window that the glass shop had in stock and used a black windshield primer around the perimeter of the glass. I don't know how to post a link to my build thread but it's Project Defibrillator 73 Camaro.

if you thought about going through class auto glass ionnovations, it will seem all rainbows and kittens when Robert is talking to you to get your order placed. But once you send payment it seems like he falls off the face of the planet. camoffett, I am experiencing the same issue as you right now. I placed an order with Robert 4 1/2 months ago and he has yet to return a phone call let alone any sort of emai I send....enough is enough with this
