Honestly, I would love to attend but the combination of a 400 mile trek and work schedule, it makes it really hard for me. If it were a little closer (maybe 1/2 way) it would be a different story. Call me a *****, I don't give a sh_t.

We were going to do a car show if we had enough participants to make a 2 day racing event, having the time for judging. We also know Easter weekend doesn't help, but if want a car show and your willing to help us out, we'll put up a trophy and a money prize. Furthermore, no entry fee for a car show.

What Finch is trying to say, He's willing to drive 4000 miles to support our hobby. Hey, if you can't make it this time, maybe next.

We are all just pokin fun here and trying to give those who would be on the fence a little push.

My take on all this is you never know how long you got and the years keep coming and going. You should take every advantage to do the things you love and spend time with the people who make you happy.

Will driving across the states for a 1 day event be a PIA? hell yes. Am I going to spend money I shouldn't doing it? yep. Will it be worth it? You bet.

I will need a couple nights at the watering hole after the challenge I have just taken on.

For all you guys with a list of things to do before you can show I thought I would throw in what I have to do to get my car together enough to come out.

Paint Car (It is in polyester primer now and needs multiple block sandings and multiple coats of primer followed by the base and clear
      Swap out engine
Install all new shocks and springs
Design and build new head light door motor system
      install custom carpet
      Wire up gauges
Drop tank and install new filler neck
Mount new tires on rims once they arrive
      Build roll bar
Prep and powder coat all window trim
      Install glass
Hang doors, deck lid and hood after paint
      install lights
      misc 1000 other things

On top of the above I have my full time job along with project Kryptonite that I am painting now.

I am still not sure how I will get it done....I will be burning the midnight oil for sure.

Also to keep up my media whore status I will be working/filming on the set of Trucks TV the week of 3/22 to 3/26 for a special episode so those days are shot for the home projects.

Anyone know how to make the days longer?
