So you get a raise and tell me you have to wait to fix up the Camaro and then you buy a Z06? HMMMMM.

Your wife is right, that Camaro is going to be jealous for a long time until it gets parts to feel loved like the Z06,lol.

I'm glad you are doing well and your right foot is in happy land.

I don't think my Vibe will keep up with the Z06 but I'm bringing the Cormaro next time,LOL.

      Take care and be safe.

The Camaro is going to be a long project , once I get going on it.
That's why I've procrastinated as long as I have.

This Z06 is gonna' be my driver while the Camaro is being done..
The Z06 is an excellent , comfortable , fast , daily driver..
It gets pretty good gas mileage too..
Plus , I got an excellent ( cheap) deal on this car ....

Go with Melrose headers or Kook's. You can keep the factory mufflers if you'd like. For air intake, Callaway Honker is a solid piece. I did the Melrose headers and Honker intake along with a tune(required if you want to see any gains) to an 07 and it put down nearly 480 to the wheels. Torque I can't remember. Ridiculously fast. Pulls like a freight train through all gears.

The way the LS7 pulls makes me wonder if I'll be happy with a turbo on my engine. I'm afraid I'll need displacement

Nice Jeff! Just watch out for the run-flats on a road coarse. They give no warning before letting go. It's a bit un-nerving.

Driving the Z06 is quite different than the Camaro. When you turn the Z06 steering wheel, the car actually turns!

      Congrats Jeff!! Awesome car!

I agree with Carl about the run-flats... One of my buddies has a C6 Z06 and he swapped from the run-flat Goodyears to the Michelin PS2's and he said it's "night and day" difference on the road course... he also stepped up the rear tire size from the Z06 325-series to the Viper 345-series size... and they fit fine within the wheel well...

The newer Z06 is pure evil. Absolutely amazing car with no mods at all.

It's got 345 wide PS2's on the rear now , but some no-name 275's on the front.. The seller just put something cheap on it to sell it..
I was considering Nitto 's , for replacements..
I'm gonna' get some miles out of what's on it first..

I'll get a good matched set of tires before it sees a track..
