I'm not abandoning the '69 Camaro.
I just couldn't pass up the deal on the Z06.
      The car drives awesome !!
Now I know what to shoot for when modifying the Camaro..

The C6 Z06 seems to be the benchmark that everyone looks for when modifying the older musclecars..
So , I had to have one .

      Here's me and the babies.

Forgive my clothes , I was cleaning the garage ..

Wow Jeff, can't hide that money.....LOL, j/k...nice car. Does the camaro handle like that new addition?
      1970 RS/SS350 139K on the clock:

The Camaro does NOT handle like the Z06 ! LOL ! ( Not yet anyway )

It's funny , my wife keeps quoting a scene in "Herbie The Love Bug" where Herbie's owner( Jim Douglas ) buys a new sports car , and Herbie smashes it to bits while Jim is inside his house.
The Camaro has an alarm , and the first time I pulled the Z06 into the garage next to the Camaro , the Camaro started raising hell.. alarm blaring , siren blaring ...
      My wife said " See , I told you , He's jealous . "

The Z06 is so much faster than the Camaro. ( For now )
The Camaro only has a 300hp smallblock.
The Vette will spin the tires in every gear up to 130 mph..
      It's brutal .
      Scary .
I gotta' get used to it.
It has enough speed to really hurt innocent bystanders , or pedestrians if I ever lost control on the public streets.
Now , on a racetrack , things would be different ..
I'm not scared on a closed course racetrack..

That's one hell of a ride you've picked up Jeff!! I was lured into thinking you got a motor for the Camaro from the title!

Hopefully you won't be deterred on fixing up the Camaro, both cars are awesome in their own right!

      That was my joke .....

I'm still gonna' fix up the Camaro.
I now have a base-line to compare it to ..

The Z06 was originally purchased ( new ) at the dealership I work at.
I've known the previous owner and the cars history for the last 2 1/2 years.
It's been maintained , but driven hard ..
The previous owner just wanted to sell it and move on.
He put 52,000 miles on it so far.And it has a little wear and tear on the seat upholstery.
He had his fun with it.
But , he could not get a " Corvette Person" to give him a good price for the car , because of the mileage.
So , he contacted me about buying it.
And here I am . With it..
