I'm considering headers , a cold air intake and a dyno tune..

Great purchase. I love the lines of the z06. C6's ave nice lines, but the Z06 looks so much better.

Cool ride Jeff! Nothing like having some modern stuff mixed with some old. Can't wait to hear it with your exhaust mods.

The only real problem I have with all of you guys getting Corvettes is that I want one !!

I look forward to seeing you at the events no matter what car you bring, although I'm not sure if I should let you in front of me or behind me at the track now, that Z06 could beat me standing still, lol.

So what color are you going to dream of painting the Camaro now that you might want to have matching colored cars?

The nice thing is that you won't have to look far for tires to mock up the suspension on the 69.

I can hardly wait to see it in person and see you having fun with it.

      Nice Car !!
I love the Jetstream Blue color more than the Black ..
Jetstrem Blue was actually my preferred choice ..
But , I got such a good deal on the black car , I couldn't pass it up..

The Camaro will stay Hugger Orange..
      That's the original color.
I want to keep it that way..

don't start doing power mods... HP is not issue with that car. If anything I would do a custom ECM tune, but that's it

Buy shocks - The Z06 is known for being twitchy and a set of good shocks is gonna help you tune it out

Hey Jeff, the guys at MTI in Marietta are super good on these cars. Reese, the owner, track tests all their mods before passing them on to the customers!!! Give them a call for some beginner steps.

      You've got a good point.
I can't really handle the power it's got .( Like on a curvy road )
It's got more power than I can use already..
I'm gonna' concentrate on improving my driving skills FIRST ...
When I get to where I can really push the car to it's max , I'll worry about more power...
I'm more concerned with the handling and my driving...

Congrats on getting an awesome deal, as far as the mileage you know that she is broken in.

I can see you driving your Camaro harder and with more confidence in your future once you get the Z06 under control at speed. You will be putting your foot thru the floor trying to get more out of the Camaro and braking way deeper than you used to. All around things will just plain make you a more confident driver.

I can't wait to see you if you make it up to Road America, I want a ride in what ever you bring but that Z06 would be a real hoot!

Get some practice and stay safe.

      Congrats Jeff

I know you won't give up on the 69!! That is why I threw the 68 Camaro together so I could take my time with my 69 Camaro. Maybe Pro-Touring won't be out by that time I finish it!! LOL

Congrats Jeff, those are great cars! I went to the Spring Mountain driving school last year and we got to spend some time in the Z06's, what an absolute blast to drive on the track I looked real serious at a new one a buddy of mine had at his dealership after I got back. I still kick myself for not buying it. Enjoy

You need to get online and register for the Road America event in April. It's the one track in North America where you can really exercise it. I can show you around that track, I have hundreds of laps there. Congrats!
