My car had been sitting since the early '70s when I purchased it in 2003.

      Here it is now:

1968 427/435 H.P. 4-speed Corvette. Found this in 2004 three miles from my house with 8,478 miles on it. Milage was low because the car was just used for steet racing back in the day, then parked. Original engine and trans. are long gone, but the rest of the car is all there and is mint. It has 9,300 miles on it now and is for sale. Need to get going on a new PT project.

Can you imagine buying a new Z06, street (or even sanctioned) race it for 8k miles, then park it in a barn and forget about it? Mind blowing!

Was not liking the rust work ahead on my first purchase, so I just bought another Olds 88 that had been sitting literally in a barn for nearly 30 years. The paint is faded, not rusted. You can still see the bumpers shimmering in the light

I **** my pants when I found this one...
