I'm judging the Camaro based on the images from the OP, not on the staged, doctored ones. Maybe my opinion would change when I see it in person, but for now I still think it's awkward and outside of the gauges, the interior is uninteresting.

I have seen an orange Challenger in person and it is by all means the ONLY car that can pull of orange.

The first time I walked up on a Challenger I wondered if it was built on the Ram chassis. LOL It's a boat but it does look cool going down the road. It's just not a show car. Guy said my car looked like the new challenger the other day. What a back handed compliment.

      The '69 is pure awesomeness!
I wouldn't take the 2010 for free. I'd rather have a new Challenger.

In my opinion, those that have been around to enjoy the original Camaro will never fully respect the new Camaro. Call it age, experience or whatever else but they will always defer back to a first gen. I wasn't around to enjoy all the hype of the ponycar wars therefore I have no ties to a first gen. I think GM could've stepped up a little better but I like it. I also like the Challengers but after seeing one in person you just can't deny how huge that car is.
69 Camaros are overrated musclecars just like 64 Impalas are overrated lowriders. To each his own. At least there was some effort put forth. I don't see alot of critics producing their own version of the "perfect" musclecar for the masses.

Sorry, I copied the wrong IMG URL when I did the google search.

Anyhow, it's not really a new mustang at all. All they did was squish down the front a little. No thanks.

My wife has a mustang GT. Great car, fun to drive but it definetely should have more power and the styling has lost some of its flavor to me. But overall still a great car. I would buy a challenger or a camaro for myself in a heartbeat. That being said I would rather have a 69 Camaro with the full PT treatment (LS engine, paddle shift and all the other goodies.) But after buying a 69 and after all the restoring and modifying you can bet I would of spent twice as much as what one of these cars cost. So looking at it that way these new cars are a great value.

That's great if you want it in Silver, Yellow, Black or Red. Are the cuts a GM so bad that you only have 4 color choices???

I swear. If these things were being sold for $10 someone would bitch about depreciation and resale value.

      New camaro

Yea you either like it or you don't. I think it will allow some guys to join the muscle car scene without breaking the bank. My 67 has close to 80 plus thousand in it by the time it was finished. Yes its my pride and joy but the fact that I can get more bells and whistles in a new camaro is also exciting and far half the price and with a warranty. As for the interior.. some of the great interior shops can make it how you like. Give it time before the guage companies have something different to offer. Just like the mustang.. how many companies were at SEMA a few years back pushing aftermarket mods. I've seen the car in print and in person and it has potential. We just need to have some modified ones done before the final word is in. Just hope GM can hang on and keep producing the car. It's just a poor time to be introducing such a fine car. The market is not going to allow many who may want to buy, thanks to our government politics. Lets hope for the best with the car and to each and everyone of us who are trying to hold on.
