The wife and I saw it this afternoon. AWESOME!! I want to go see it again.

      Love the hotties!!

One thing I noticed, as a father, was there were A LOT of Disney Channel actors in this movie.

And my wife wasn't too sure what I was laughing at in the underhood sequence, but she knew it was car related and just tried to keep me from laughing too hard!!

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?

Saw it tonight and was very impressed. Loved Optimus Prime, and his paint job. Was waiting for Megatron to turn into the gun... was hoping to see Soundwave in the movie as well.

Yeah and it's so easy to hot wire a diesel too. She's hot and it was only for a second, so I'll let it slide.

Was that legit how that plane was shotting those guns or whatever they are technically called. I thought it was badass and hope that's real.

You can find a C-130 gunship in action on youtube I'm sure. You gotta love those miniguns. When they light off it just sounds like, "Bbbwwaaaappp" because it's shooting so fast.
We do field exercises near an A-10 Warthog firing range and it always gives me wood watching/hearing them draw down on some old tanks.

Totally legit! I watched their rain of terror in Fallujuh a couple of nights in a row. Whomever did the description of the mini guns is spot on. Looks like one laser beam from heaven when really it's every 3rd round as a tracer. I believe in the movie when they called for fire it was for the 105 howitzer the gunships have or thumper as I've heard it called. In any case, spot on with 90% of the military stuff. I will say that 100% of all movies F up RPGs or similar shoulder fire weapons. They always portray them as semi slow moving projectiles that one can jump out of the way and avoid. Not so! It fires and it's on target. Regardless....still a great movie. Thinking about skipping the driving range and seeing it again.

OK, watched the clip you posted Tony and that's my new backup plan. If I ever end up joining the armed forces I want to be an Apache pilot or I want to be in the belly of one of those beast firing those guns. Awesome!!!!!

Bob, thank you for your service and your response. I appreciate both.

That first one is the "Bbwwaaaaaaaaappp" sound.
If you've ever heard a four stroke dirt bike, take that sound an double the speed. I love it. You can hear it over the jets. When we were out doing maneuvers, the first time I heard it I thought someone was actually out there somewhere riding a bike, It wasn't until I saw the A-10 in flight did I realize they were shooting.

Ha ha yeah. If they offer a Bumblebee version of the Camaro it needs to come with the air freshener.

      Loved the movie.

Gotta a kick out of some of the semi-cheesy one liner type comedy too.

Good movie. Took the kids to see it yesterday. Pops tagged along...this was right up his alley. I looked over and he was grinning like a kid with his tub of popcorn under his chin. LOL!!!

Optimus was kick ass. Brings back a lot of memories for me. I was big into the Autobots when I was a kid. Sure wished I would have saved those things for my kids. Today's toys are so cheaply made.

I know it's kinda late, but here's an interesting piece of trivia for y'all: I've got a cousin in the army and he told me that the version of the C-130 that you see in the movie is capable of putting a bullet in every six-inch square in a space the size of a football field. He said that when the big guns fire it actually makes the airplane move to the side. He said he saw 'em do this in Afghanistan after 9-11 and it was absolutely insane.
