      eBay Item number: 300137778325

I was checking out this very car a week or 2 ago & the original seller had a buy it now of $39,500.00 & now this guy (a different guy) only wants $9,500. It doesn't make any since. & when I pick on any of the links on his page it signs me out of eBay. I believe THIS IS A FAKE LISTING!!!!!! buyer Beware!!!!!!!

Please, check it out & tell me what you think. Here is the 1st listing so you could compare the two, You be the judge.

      I'll believe you...but honestly...

      I think 9,500 for a 302-powered '72 is a fair asking price...meaning I wouldn't pay 9,500 for it- let alone $39,500!!!

It's BS for sure. Just look at the sellers feedback score and join date.

a couple of weeks ago I was reporting a few listings as frauds. there is a link at the bottom of each page that allows you to do that. for some reason, the frauds usually use a BIN price of $9200 or $9500. another quick giveaway is when they request to contact them outside of the ebay message system. low feedback scores, or multiple car listings all of a sudden from an account that hasn't had recent activity. that is an indication that they stole someones ebay ID.
yes, I do a lot of business on ebay w/ my wife's store, and I've never gotten scammed. remember, if seems too good to be true, it is.

they are all over craigslist too

I see at least two or three fake ads a week. Does anybody really think they will get a frame off restored 69 Camaro Z28 if you send a check for $7000 to Bulgaria?

You also really should "mark" your pictures with a logo. Someone swiped my pictures of a car for sale and posted the car for sale on Craigslist in Chicago. I am in Tennessee!

A fellow in Chicago saw it on Ebay and then Craigslist and reported it as a fraud to Craigslist and also emailed me with the information. All the scammer used were my pictures. If I had a mark on them such as a logo they could not be copied of ebay and used in the scammers ad.
