      Help Needed

Hey guys, hope yall all had a merry Christmas.

I need some questions answered if possible.

I'm converting to manual brakes(car: 68 Camaro) and ordered new pre-bent lines. Problem is some of the lines don't match up. I'm reusing the distribution block, its bracket and the POWER master cyclinder. I wanted to mock it up and get the system bleed and then figure out which MC I needed.

      So here are my ?????

      1. Is there a difference in the port locations in POWER and MANUAL MCs?

2.Are the distribution blocks different? Bracket for it different?

I need to get the car back on the road for school/work.

      Thanks for the help.
      Jared

      Hey Jared

I sent you a PM. I have pics of my stock 68 camaro setup. The pics are to big to post here.

I'm almost 100% certain that the distribution block is different. I upgraded my power drums and I believe I recall that much.
Not sure about the brackets. (I've tossed the old stuff)

I don't think I know what you mean by "port location" for your first question. I'm brain dead!

By port location, I mean the location of where the 2 lines exit the MC. Are they in different locations in a POWER and MANUAL MC?

      Lines Are In

      Thanks Mike for the pics!

      And for future inquiries:

      1. The only real differences between a MANUAL and POWER MC is that a power MC will have a larger bore diameter than a manual MC. And a manual MC will have a deep piston hole to accept the manual brake push rod while a power MC will normally have a shallow hole.

      2. The bracket is the same as well as the distribution block.

My lines were a little tight and just needed a little muscle to make fit. Some needed to be reshaped; don't know if this is common b/c my setup is not 100% stock.
