Is there anyone here on the board that works for KORE3?

I am curious to know if you have any plans to make a rear bracket for an 80's G body to mount the new ZO6 calipers, and one for a 98-02 2WD S10 Blazer spindle to mount the front 6 piston ZO6 calipers.

I was looking through their website this morning and saw that they have 10 and 12 bolt brackets for the rear. don't work for kore 3. hope it helps

I saw that too, but it doesn't help. The G body 10 bolt rear was a b@sturd rearend. The bolt pattern that holds the drum back plat on and the corresponding disc brake bracket is unlike any other bolt pattern. There is one large bolt at the top center & then 2 smaller bolts spread about 2.5-3 inches apart on the bottom side of the axle.

In the attached picture you can see the rear disc brake bracket on the left side of the picture. That is what the G body rear bolt pattern looks like.

you know you guys can still use 4th gen rear brakes...basically the same as the C5 but easier to get....we used this plan to do a friends GN. http://www.thirdgen.org/ls1reardisc

same master just use the prop/combo valve off of a 3rd gen with 4WDB.

Hey Scott, I have the brackets in stock to mount the C5 13" or C6 Z51 13.4" or the C6 Z06 14" rotor and caliper onto the S-10 ZQ8 spindle. I also have the ZQ8 spindles in stock. See my post under user name lt4xtreme on the montecarloss.com site (cannot get the seach to work to get a link) and I've designed a bolt on rear set up for the 3-bolt G-body axle housing that clears the frame, does not require shock relocation, and does not require the axle shaft to be turned down to fit the rotor over. This setup uses the e-brake in rotor and uses C5 12" or C6 Z51 13" or the C6 Z06 rotors and calipers. I was hoping to have this rear setup done my now. I have the CAD drawing done and the prototype mocked up still need to send the CAD drawing out to the CNC shop for the first run and if I can't find some GM e-brake cables to fit I'll have to get some custom one built. I know there is alot of interest in this so maybe late winter early spring. If I had some firm orders I would push it ahead of some other projects.

If I had a set of the calipers I could probably make my own. I made the ones for the C5 brakes. Actually your brackets look almost exactly the same as mine. Any chance you have the bolt pattern for the G body flanges, that you would give out?

Just came across this post. Sorry for my tardiness as I have not been on the site in a bit.

Kore3 is still a very small operation (1 main employee/owner with his brother helping out as time allows) compared to the big name companies out there.

However, with that being said the customer service is OUTSTANDING IMO. Give Tobin a call and he can answer all your questions. He will bend over backwards to help you. If memory serves me correctly I believe the last time I spoke with him it was a good 45min to hour phone conversation. If he doesnt have something for you he is always open to making/fabricating new parts. At least in my case he is willing to do it. And from speaking with him and others, he has done it for a few others that I know of.

His specialty focuses on the Corvette brakes and if memory serves me he may already make a mounting system for the G-body rear end for use with Corvette brake parts. In my case I am not using corvette brakes but he is still making the braketry and accessories I need to run the brakes I am going with.

Only had to second you....I got all my bracketry and lines from Tobin. Awesome guy to deal with and i have been on the phone with him for a good while too. He is interested in his customers and it shows. Everything i received is TOP NOTCH.

He has the rear brackets for sure.
