You've got the 28 spline unit, I'm 90% sure. The late 80's/early 90's truck ten bolts (and a few select passenger cars) went to 30 spline.

PS - if it is indeed the stock ratio, the rear end code may be stamped into the axle housing tube. Not sure which side, it's on the passenger side on the 67-72 GM trucks.
