      I think you're going to have bigger issues trying to get the abs to function. Your suspension will need to be modified to have and sensors . Then you need abs modual , steering input sensor, lateral g sensor thingy...blah blah blah it can be done don't get me wrong . Just a lot of work

      Now, if he can get the old truck body to fit over the newer truck frame/wheels/axles, etc..., then all the drivetrain stuff (ABS/TCS, etc..) will still function.

      True .....again tall order. There's some amazing brake kits out there that do allow for this swap it just crazy work . I've looked into it for my chevelle with ZR-1 brakes . I'm not wuite sure if the juice is worth the squeeze
