      Rear seat belt advice

      Hi all,
Have no seat belts in the rear of my 69 Bird
Do you think it can be a safe way to adapt 2 points seat belts ?
Better if I weld the steel plates to the chassis ?

Would you do it in your car ? If not, what would you do ?
      Thanks a lot
      Gil

They came from the factory with 3 sets. The mounts are there, you can put 2 point Belts back in or Morris Concepts sells kits to install rear 3 point belts.

      Thanks Chris,
Think I've seen mounts each side of the trans tunnel, but haven't seen in the other side, will look closer for holes in my dark garage

Gil, I will take some pics when I get home. My 67' definitely has the mounts and I had no seat belts.

Yeah Gil, if you look along the same plane as the red circle you will find the other mounts. You should find 2 outer mounts (by the rear sid panel and 2 near the trans hump (like the one circled in red).

      Thanks Chris,
Seen that for a Camaro, should be the same for the Bird

Now that I know where to look for, should be easier
