...Some shots from the C10 frame assembly phase. Splined sway bars, LOW ride height, coilovers, torque arm, rack and pinion, stainless tank...the works.

Awesome, I love these trucks. Wheels look great as well, live the fact you guys are using a torque arm rear suspension.

Ok so some more photos to get everyone up to date. I'll mostly let the pics do the talking...

Minitubs and raising the bar, er, bed. We wanted to still be able to haul a Harley so a big ol' bump in the middle of the bed just wouldn't do. We like to think if we didn't mention it's been raised most folks wouldn't catch it at first glance. First step was widening the tubs. This was simply done but moving the area where the tubs bolted down inward. Same deal inside the bed sides, just moved everything upwards.

Now the reason for the bed mods...

      Note:
-Torque arm suspension, the same style set up in our booty kicking Camaro and Nova suspension systems
-Articulink rotating trailing arms with greasable Delrin bushings
-Several coilover options from mild street to full race sweet
-Splined sway bar with several available spring rates
-Available 9" Ford with all bracketry pre-welded on
-Rear frame clearanced for 345s and then some for the pro street guys
-C notch built in for air bag dropping the rockers on the ground

And the even more exciting news- how about the most advanced optimization of suspension geometry on the market. Trust us when we say hours and hours of time went into this suspension design. Yes it rides well. Yes it rides LOW. Yes it is high clearance to easily swallow 315s. And yes, with Ron Sutton on board as part of the design team, this suspension kicks! Quoting Ron-

 The ONLY chassis to come exclusively with the Next-Gen ATS spindle
 Industry first: Optimum roll center with any suspension strategy
 Roll Center achieves optimum location for low, mid & high travel
 Increased shock length providing more suspension travel
 Excellent for street, autocross & track days
 Virtually ZERO bump steer - .005” in standard full travel
 Bump steer kit available for competitors desiring additional bump out
 Up to 30 deg of steering angle
 Rack location & ATS Next-Gen spindle provide optimum Ackerman
 3-piece Chromoly tubular splined sway bar available in various rates
 It just doesn’t get ANY BETTER than this

and speaking about the new "Next Gen" ATS spindle...

 We took the best forged aluminum spindle & made it better
 Better Geometry than ANY Corvette (or Corvette copy) spindle
       Reduced KPI/SAI angle
 Requires less caster to achieves optimum tire contact patch
       Significantly less scrub radius
 Maintains optimum tire grip with less backspaced wheels
 Still forged from 7075 aluminum
 Uses all brakes built for Corvette C6 spindles
 Comes standard with stronger ZR1 hubs & bearings
 Next-Gen steering arm provides increased Ackerman steering
 Achieves optimum tire slip-angles, increasing front tire grip
 Excellent for Autocross, Road Course & Street

      Yeah baby!

This is static ride height. Wouldn't take much by way of bags to drop the rockers on the ground for those that dig that. "How low can you go..." Note that the frame rails and custom formed headers and exhaust are tucked up above the stock rockers so there's no issues with ground clearance through full suspension travel. For those that live in speed bump utopia, there's is plenty of travel to raise it up as needed via the coilovers. The additional parts such as headers will be available for purchase as well.

In these pics we hadn't adjusted the wheel base via the adjustable trailing arms yet but we wanted to get a few pics out in the sun before we continued...

I love cool parts! I'm curious for the ride report. The only desire I have is I wish you had gone with a manual trans.

Any interest in sell the C10 aero stuff you did on the bottom? I am ditching the bags in mine to make it handle more... Ride Tech has a set of coil overs with my name on 'em.

We considered a T56 but ultimately this one's going to be a cruiser more so than a racer. Jay's Camaro will handle the go fast duties. The C10 will likely see some track time to stretch it's legs now and again, but it'll get a lot of miles put on it driving to local cruise nights and shows and even to work and such. The manual has some advantages but how nice is it to just get in, press the go pedal, and you're on your way?

Sorry grendel, they were a one off deal. Good luck with your C10! We've got a new chassis with a set of Ridetechs already installed with your name on it! If a new Pro Touring complete chassis isn't on your wish list, as soon as we've got the ExtReme Chevelle, and Tri-5 chassis and the new ExtrReme Camaro and Nova subframes on the market, we'll be readdressing the C10 with a bolt in clip with all the new ExtReme suspension parts for the factory frame. Stay tuned with us for more...

Love it! that is one good looking frame, looks a little flimsy where the lower control arms bolt up though! LOL
