I have the wheels and are happy with them. I however purchased them prior to the company going under.

I have a set and think they're very very good quality. There was a little "confusion" on their end before I got my wheels delivered. Immediately after I received my wheels the S@%t hit the fan. I guess I was lucky compared to some people on this board. In fairness, I don't know exactly what the situation was and don't know if the customers here ever got the matter resolved.

I ordered a set from Jon at NewGen early in February. They are very good quality. I ordered brushed centers with a polished lip. The polished lip is not quite a polished as Boyd Coddington or Boze wheels I already own. The brush work look nice and there are a few imperfections in the clear finish. Noting major or noticible if you aren't looking over the wheels by themselves. For the difference in price compared to other brands 3 piece wheels they are a real good value.

The biggest frustration I have/had is communication and delays. They were estimated to be completed in 6-8 weeks and took about 15 weeks to get them. When I got them they did not come with center caps because they were on back order. Not a big deal again but I can't get Jon to call me back or email me with an ETA on the caps (it has been 2 weeks). So if anyone know of a general supplier of caps let me know. I tried the ones I have from Boze and Boyd and they were both too small.

Yep, sub-par finishes, lies and crappy communication, sounds like a typical New Gen wheel order.

From what I recall, Schott was doing the machining of his wheels. Could have changed, but not sure.

I have ordered at least two sets of wheels & tires through Jon while at driverzinc and have had no problems with them. The wheels were custom made to my spec's and I received them when Jon siad I would. I can't speak for everyone but I would gladly buy from Jon again.

Her are a couple pictures of my wheels. They are a custom design that I had Jon do for me. A modification of one of his existing styles.

Never mind. I guess I can't post a picture with the mobile ap.

      New Gen wheels.

I didn't mean to tease. The iPhone ap leaves a little to be desired. I posted this on another site via tapatalk.

Looks bitchin. Best thing about New Gen wheels is you're pretty much guaranteed to be the only guy at a show or event with a set.

Got my wheels through Jon a few years back. Had a few delays and the caps took a while but very happy with the final product.

I like those wheels. They look right at home. Did you paint the white letters on the tires? I am kind of liking it...different

Thanks and yes I painted the letters on there. Will be switching from the Nitto 555 fronts to the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 tires so the white letters will be "Goodyear Eagle F1" (more appropriate then Nitto and the letters are the correct size and location on this tire). Keeping the same size tire 255/45/18. The rears I'm leaving as 305/45/18 Nitto drag radials because there is no similar tire but will be sanding smooth the sidewall and stenciling on Goodyear Eagle F1. May be 2015 until I get to this as the car is still off the road getting final projects completed.

Jon got the caps for me and they were custom made. They are about twice the size of the stock Olds caps. I think he had a guy that makes his caps but it's been a few years so I don't remember if he did them or had someone do them for him. I think they were $175 each or around that.....Pretty expensive for caps but again anything one off is not going to be cheap.
