      1964 Project Daily Driver

I bought this 1964 falcon over 9 years ago from a guy out in Arizona, and did nothing with it till now. I just wanted a nice little daily driver that I could enjoy running back and forth to work in. I hope to have it going by spring will see !!!!! not going to be a beast just a fun driver, had to have a little more tire under it so I tubed it pulled the leaf springs going back with 3 or 4 link not sure yet. Will be using a 5 speed and a late model 302 or 351.... Sooooooo I thought I would post it up, see what you guy's think plus it will help me keep up with my progress.....

I think you're off to an AWESOME start on a platform with tons of resources (and yes, I am a bit bias). There are a few of us Falcon owners here and i'm sure a quick google search will find you another site with a bit more Ford Falcon peeps.

Welcome aboard and three thumbs up for the Falcon. Keep us posted on the progress.

btw... they ALL start out as 'nothing big, just a daily driver' ;)

      A little Progress

Okay I got the rear end brackets taken off and the axels tubes welded in.

Also got the the brackets tacked welded on the axle housing for the new suspension.

The Coil over Shocks I was going to use ended up being to long had to order a new set should be here this Friday.
While waiting on shocks I made up the brackets to mount the Falcon on the rotisserie and I also made the frame bracket
      for the pan hard bar

Subscribing. Love the build. Are you using a kit for the rear suspension or fabbing it yourself?

      windsor,

this is the best thing I have found to remove paint ..... of course blasting is faster and better I guess, but this pad will remove paint and primer pretty fast. http://www.eastwood.com/cleaning-dis...FeJF7AodhXgAOg
