the link you sent I have seen 1 million 345 thousand and 6 times lol, it was a mock up on photoshop I researched every company, no one does a 20 or 19 in the rally II otherwise that would be me 1000%

Make sure you go with a 20 in the rear to fill those big wheel wells. Look at some of my last post on my build and u will see a 18 and 20 staggered. I don't know if I would have went with a 19 in the front because I like a 40 series sidewall up front but it is your car so build it your way. When I first did my turbo Nailhead a bunch of guys said I would be ruining a gd motor and factory GS car. Ohwell I built it to exspress me. I like the second set better and I bet with painted inserts they would look sick. Make sure to get ur backspacing right when ordering

Robbie, your wheel choice whatever it may be is bound to bother some people. While many here(myself included) think those are the wrong choice for a classic GTO, you are the only one that matters. I learned this while trying to help my very good friend build his '68 Chevelle. No matter the thousands of wheels out there, he couldn't get away from the very basic Foose Legend. When spending thousands on wheels and tires, don't take it lightly. You're the one that has to look at it everyday, so make sure you get it right the first time. My $.02.....

Guys thanks for all the feedback CGFster Randell and cSouth understand you all !! I hate to ruin a great car look - I rode the 15x8 rally II on my car for 8 years AND LOVE THEM !! if they made them in 20 and 18's 19's preberbably I would camp out in line for them ...

Yes these do look a little flashy (hoping not gangstarish ) but they to me have a more modern muscle look to the motor. Since I have changed everything else underneath and drive train, why not modernize the wheels. I will have the 5 star greys as well to keep on for road racing events. Other than than the wheels the outward apperence and interior is the same ..

PS: car will be alive first crank next week ... well excited !!!

Thanks Paul !! yeah Im not sure if there are many people here who have run 3.75 backspacing on front wheels for A-body but that is what I am going with so they do not sit so far in as well as not rub the fender ... god help me hope it works ... you can see from the youtube video's I measured and posted

Goal is to complete Mechanical by end of Feb, then off to body shop for cut polish, doors to be hung better, and all around blend in of some paint issues, apprx 2 weeks for that, I am looking to have the car completed in full for mid April, were are you located ? Are you sure about those rims? I am yet another Pontiac owner and appreciate doing something outside of the box -especially with regard to rims but, the size of those rims you've pictured and the tiny sidewall just doesn't look right to me... Looks like a really heavy wheel and a tire that will give you a terrible ride. (just my opinion)

I think you could get away with a 40 series tire and still get a decent ride and have some cushion to protect the rim and still look good.

my wheels - are 20x10 running 275 35 20 and 19x8 running 245 40 19

what size tires are those ? and were did you get those rims from please ?
