      1966 gto HELL BEAST UPDATE

@ Cutlas67 - Here is the link to the Electric life kit
      http://www.a1electric.com/Merchant2/...duct_Code=W01C

Attached is the picture of the Start Stop kit - it was for automatic, so the shop ordered a basis kit and spliced into mine to ensure I get remote and turn off, its from China there is a lot of hard to read instructions within the kit

Started stripping car down fenders some small rust spots on the car will get blown out, inner fenders rusty, may replace. looking at two week turn around. Word of Advice use this product " AUTOSOL " incredible, for your chrome, and stainless steel, my stuff is brilliant looking. Made by Germans of course, they can over engineer a milk can incredible !

I have a few wheel questions. Love the way this build is coming along BTW. I am building a 66 and I am about to pull the trigger on 19x8 front and 20x8.5 on rear. On your front 18x8 with 4.5in BS, did this allow you to lower the car and tuck the wheel? I know on your video the guy said you will hit the fender with 3.75 BS if you lower more. Did the 4.5 BS rub the inner fender well at all? Also, what is the Rear 20x10 BS? Does this rear BS rubber the outer wheel well of the quarter panel. My goal is to slam the car on 19s and 20s. Tuck back a decent amount and front a little. I know to allow for this I wont be able to have the wheels too far out sitting flush. They will need to be in farther. This is the reason I am not going too wide of rims.

      Hell Beast Update ….

Hi guys, been awhile since I posted, had the mechanical completed in April, took to body shop on the 16th of April, it sat there still Nov with fake promises of completion, I got ripped off, now it is at mates, who does quality jobs, going base coat clear, with three coats of clear, dash is getting re-done, had knicks and dents, as well we put a new trunk in, after 44 years southern car or not it was really soft.

Ordered Asanti Rims In January finally arrived at house Dec 7th - 20 inch in back 275/35/20 19 front 235/35/19 fallen 453's - they may not be your cup of tea gents, and quite frankly I could have bought better rims for much much much cheaper, but lets see them mounted proper to the car, and run ( knowing full well lot of cats said don't to it … perhaps should have listened … )

Ordered vintage air will install for April time frame

Car will be pieced back together in garage over the coming weeks, was really hoping for a one year turn around, the original body shop really killed all hopes of driving it over late summer fall. Weather now is colder than a hookers heart

      1966 GTO Update

Ok so now we are putting in Vintage Air - bit of pain should have done it with fender off, the condenser was easy, and we don't have to move the overflow tank. another 3 days on it, then button up the interior ... aiming for March Mega speed show ..

Man if I Planned this build proper I would have saved thousands kick myself for this ! Be sure of what you want out of a build and plan accordingly, mistakes cost valuable money .... live and learn ...
