      Small but meaningful bump:

My CCW's were delivered on Tuesday!! One of the fronts (18x10.5) is pictured above, rears should have closer to 7"+ of lip (18x12.5). Only 21 more days before I have a week back in the states to work with the body shop on fitting the flares to the wheels and finally have my baby back on the ground.

Bodyshop sent over two more photos - new wheels inspired them to drop the body on the frame and attach the new front clip.

Did someone say DEEP dish? Getting mean! Time for big brakes now too I suppose...

Back in the states for a few days and dropped by the shop to see how things were progressing on the body. Looks great so far!

Brand new tank from Rock Valley - almost a shame to bolt it in!

Some of the other funky projects they have going on at JD Corvette:

I'll be stopping by again Monday to help them fit the flares to the new wheels. Amazing how a little in-person time can get you excited all over again on your project!

Roughed the flares in before I have to head back to the UK. Now squeezing 335's in the rear under her fat booty.

Looks good! I noticed the flares are about 2 inches low, Were you after that look or are you not going to lower the car much more?
The rule is measure twice and cut once. My problem is I still measure with a mic and cut with an axe!

They do look a little low when compared to the alignment tabs on top and a the small tail hanging below the quarter panels but this was how they fit the best against the lines of the car. The coilovers were completely wound down for these pictures / alignment, so ride height should be about the same when they're wound up and the fuel cell / interior are back in the car.

If I do go a little lower, the wheels might tuck ever so slightly in the flare too

There are a few pictures at the top of this page - I'm back in the UK already but any specific ones you're looking for? I might have them in my car pictures folder.
