      A Body Body Mounts

I'm going to go with poly, except I cant find a kit stateside that includes the steel inserts/bolts.

Do you guys buy them or make up a kit?

One option if you can't find the inserts and bolts, is to buy the original rubber style and get the hardware you need from that kit and use it with the poly mounts. But that cost more $$$$, which is why my El Camino had rubber body bushings, didn't want to buy two kits.

I dont run the inner sleeve just a grade 8 bolt and washer, the rubber mount hardware is different. I believe I'll be fine with my mounts like this.

I was looking at Prothane body bushings for my Cutlass and noticed all the ones for 68-72 did not come with inserts, 65-67 do. I wonder why?

      Big dreams, small pockets....

Yeah that's what I noticed and couldnt figure it out either.

Maybe the density of the poly is deemed enough to not need the crush tube, but still doesnt explain why the earlier stuff has them.

      Hmm

Thats a thought. Maybe the mounting points changed some between the years and they were not deemes necessary?

OPG carries the hardware that contains the sleeves. Got mine a while back.
