      62 Ford 390

A guys selling a 62 390 Block and crank by me for $150. Seems like a good deal. Are these older 390s good blocks to start an engine build with?

Is there any weakness' with these blocks?

Are parts meant for 390's from 64-70 interchangable with the 390s from 62?

Parts interchange but the early blocks have different motor mount bolt locations.

Cam thrust plate design is different, as are motor mounts - easily addressed if your know about them in advance & everything else works fine.
