5x120 offset (BMW) Front 19x8.5 235-40-19 Rear 19x9.5 265-30-19.........this is what he posted the rim and tire size. Will the fronts work? i know a 8 inch will but I didnt know if since id have to put spacers it would still work? I have a stock suspension. probably too much backspacing to run without a set of expensive adapters.

yea i dont know the backspacing. what would it have to be for a 8.5 to work? I dont mind a little rubbing. I plan on running air ride with the tru turn and dont mind doing a little massaging.

Probably 1.25-1.5". I have BMW wheels on my 69 Nova, but I don't remember how wide the front wheels are. I know I got 1.25" adapters and still needed a 1/4" spacer on top of it and I still hit the frame before getting to full lock.

either way if you plan on running any BMW wheels on a F-Body you will need at least a 1" spacer/adapter because u need 4-3/4" back space in the rear

Im running a set of M5 3pc wheels with a 1-1/2" spacer in the rear and i think the spacer in the front is larger not sure because i still have the front fenders off

But if ur not scared of running spacers i say do it, u will save tons if you buy used BMW wheels and theres a crap load to chose from too

I run HRE wheels from a BMW on my 69 Firebird without spacers. The fronts are 18x8.5 with a 5.3 backspace and the rears are 18x10 with a 5.9 inch backspace (keep in mind I have an AME subframe and G-Bar). The wheels off the older 5 and 7 series cars usually fit without spacers. 3 series wheels are usually a bad fit. Some of the M series wheels will also fit but you have to get the offset and check if you don't want to run spacers.

I also picked up a set of HRE BMW wheels for my 64 GTO that will fit without spacers.

What year M5 did you get your wheels off of? I have E46 M3 wheels and the rears fit fine with no spacers.

M5 was a 2005, and the rears are 10-1/2" wide 6" lips but the center where the wheels get bolted on is about 6-1/2" from the rear lip edge.

M3 wheels have less backspace then M5 wheels and 6/7 series have the largest and you can run an 11-1/2" rear wheel on them and i have put 750li wheels on a 69 chevell with a 1/4" spacer in the rear no spacer up front

i had those ssr on my rx7 back in 2003. color is called anthracite. very nice metal looking color.

as for you question, to be completely specific, the bmw 3 series wheels from the early 2000s will not fit any first gen camaro without a spacer, period. as stated above the 5 and 7 series from the early 2000s will fit without spacers as the offset is lower. bmw 3 series is around 38-40mm offset while the bmw 5 and 7 series is around 20-25mm offset, so close to an inch difference.

i am running 19s made for a bmw 5 series and they fit fine with my drum brake set up, cough until i got greedy and put 285 tire in the rear, lol. had to whip out the big frickin hammer and massage the metal a bit for clearance. now that i went with 14" brake rotors on the rear, i do not know if i will have any clearance issues yet as the car is still currently on jackstands. worst case scenario, BFH again.

if it were me, i would not buy them as the only way they would work is if you run a big spacer thats about an inch thick. and for that kind of money i am sure you can do better.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO RUN BMW WHEELS, MAKE SURE THEY ARE FROM THE 5 OR 7 SERIES FROM THE LATE 90S TO EARLY 2000S!!!

be patient, if your on a budget, something will come along, always does.

Those are nice and will definitely need a spacer for the front. I have run z06 wheels on my chevelle with spacers and never had any problems with them. I say go for them.
