Budniks have always been my favorite. Why did they drop off in popularity?

Right now my thoughts are that Budnik has some very good looking and well made wheels, and that you have continued your habit of confusing posts.

A more specific thought and question would greatly benefit your image as a vendor. The point of this thread is extremely vague, and can only lead to speculation and confusion as to its intended purpose.

Are you planning on starting to carry the line and gauging the interest in this community?
Are you wondering what we think of the product quality, as you have concerns about its reputation, good or bad?
Do you want to know if any of run these wheels so you can get pictures for your customers.

All of the above are valid, complete thoughts. What you posted is vastly over generalized at best. I answered the thread with what I was thinking, which is what you asked.

Good point just be a little nicer in your comments and I will respond respectfully. I used to sell the line in the 90's and at that time I sincerely thought it was the best period. I am just asking for general comments about the line and was really wondering why the impact has fallen off. I have alot of respect for Alan Budnik and at one time the phone rang 90% Budnik...

I think they are or used to be on this sight selling direct. I don't have a set but I was very close to buying some for my Camaro. I do like Budniks and plan on getting some Famosa's for my 69 Chevelle I have now.

After being suggested that the wait time would be 6-8 weeks and making up different excuses for delays to Paradise than I was being told, I eventually picked up my wheels after waiting 17 weeks. No complaints on the quality....Just the excessive waiting. By the way, not one apology when picking them up. Just sayin'.

i found this thread because i am closing in on pulling the trigger on a set of budniks. 8-10 weeks is what i was told by detroit speed. that almost makes me not want hem. at 17 weeks, i might resort to violence. no wheel is worth over 4 months.

I love my GTB's. I think they make the car. Got mine in about 5 weeks, was told 5-6. Ordered directly from Budnik due to powdercoating. Got Show pricing from GoodGuys show.
