I like my Budniks a lot. The long lead times are true. I ordered mine from DSE and they took about 12 weeks. My car was still a project when I ordered so it wasn't a big deal, but it was still annoying.

Any body wanting to save the wait time can buy mine. They are in the for sale section now. I wouldn't be selling if it wasn't for my new narrowed rear end.

Mine is also a project. But, since everything is custom, I couldn't proceed without knowing the actual trac in order to build the front suspension/frame assembly (similar to Camaro/Nova) and that required the mounted wheels in order to check for fender clearance. Everything hinged on having those wheels so work could proceed (engine & radiator location, bracing, etc.).
I wouldn't have minded as much if I was contacted once in a while giving me a truthful update on the progress. NOT ONCE did I receive a call from anyone without me first having to initiate it and then the answers kept changing depending on who I spoke to.

I hear you there. If they would have told me right off the bat that I would be waiting 12 weeks I would have been fine with that. I just hate hearing a new reason every week. If you say your going to deliver at a given time do it. If a legitimate reason comes up and you can't deliver just tell me. I'm a big boy I can deal with it. I don't need to hear a new excuse every week. Also I just want to make it clear that I'm not blaming DSE. They have been great to deal with on all my orders with them.
