      Oil lines?

So does anyone know what kind of lines can be used to replace the rubber hose that will with stand the heat and oil?

I've always just used aeroquip braided stainless lines with AN fittings. The new ptfe lined hose is a nice upgrade but requires different fittings than the normal braided.

follow what the oems do and make up some hard lines with rubber hose only where you need some flexibility. depending on what you are building, you might even be able to find some oem oil lines that will work. Chevy V8's can use truck or Caprice setups for oil coolers, and a lot of early 90's 4X4 Blazers and S10s with a 4.3 came with a remote oil filter that mounts up on the firewall, with an oil cooler mounted in front of the radiator.

I used Gates C5E hose, ( http://www.hoseandrubber.com/PDF/Hyd...ulicTubing.pdf ) they are used on trucks and buses. You can purchase JAC ends that can be attached with hand tools. With the JAC ends you can use either AN / 37* or Auto 45* fittings.
