I needed a horn, so I figured why not put a truck horn in

I think I might put another one in the other wheel well. Overall great horns though.

In other news the Motorola droid 2 carmount allows the droid 2 to take video while mounted in a car. Sadly the microphone clips like a mofo....

This is such a great little car. You must be going deaf though! I would love to see some drive-by videos of it.

I'll work on it. The most recent videos were taken with my motorola droid 2 on a car mount so the audio is clipping. Its a lot louder than it is in real life.

I'll work on getting some HD footage,

Man that is cool. makes me wish I keep the right hand drive one my dad got years ago. had to let it go a long time ago, because I had no where to store it at the time.

Very cool project. What are you doing for reverse? Also have you calculated a top speed for it?

With the previous gearing I hit 128 on the dyno in 6th. New gearing should be faster but I've only touched 112. Too scary.

Also got a new Aluminum 2 core radiator for cooling. I'm having issues at extended RPMs above 7k or above 60mph... Thats Ralphy the mascot!

I mounted up some of the rarest tires in the world. Continental Sportcontact 195/45/13s. 4 sets in the world and I tracked one down. Made the car torque steer WAY less and it actually has traction now. I love these tires....

Just playing around with some 22s. What do you guys think!?

I would like a close up of the engine to trans adapter

I would like a close up pic of the engine to trans adapter arrangement.

I have molds for the Tatum Crusader, originally VW powered.

Might have to actually mount my engine behind the diff, but since I have a fairly complete set of machine tools anything should be possible.

I've seen a VW trans case converted to chain drive, I hope I can find something lighter and smaller that will still handle the power.
At these prices I want my gas 100 octane, leaded, and my windshield washed!

So much for a good night. Some dumbass talking on a cellphone hit me while turning without checking both ways. The front fender took the brunt of the accident but boy am I pissed.

      Check out the wheel!

Sorry to hear about the accident. Are you going to do anything different to the car or just fix the damage?
