I love the classic Mini's . They are an awesome and cute little car. The New MINI's are ok . , but they don't have the personality of the old mini's .

What they look like on the car....

I jumped out of the car and demanded he rip the phone off his ear before I did. I'm glad he hung it up. Don't need any trouble but this guy was askin for it.

ATB Quaife Mechanical Reverse unit for bike engined cars.

Push pull unit on the shifter. 6 speeds in reverse is FUN.

I've driven both on a track. I have respect for the new minis, for a new fwd car they perform very well and are a lot of fun out of the box. Sadly they are not Minis they are BMWs.

Once you have driven both, there is no comparison, except AC and airbags.

Well the car is finally finished. Got the center column adjusted for the driver so its less like a schoolbus, and had the interior gone through. New carpet, dash vinyl, rear seat, rear deck, new leather boots for the shifter and ebrake.

Car will be for sale after I check the clutch and chain for its new owners.

      1/40 in the world.

      Its number #36

      Interior:

      Matched french stiching

Also added another radiator to keep temps below 170 or so. Max temp for the R1 motor is 230 or so.

It'll be a shame to see her go. I have lots of time into this one, and not to mention money.

Will make classified add in the forums. I am asking 35k. I have all the paperwork on hours/labor, parts. This thing was NOT an easy car to build. But it draws crowds more than a live real elvis come back to life on hollywood. blvd. I have way more invested :(

      Some vids driving around town:

It behaves well below 7k. Above you better have testicles of steel. It pulls harder than any small car I've ever been in. And the sound is just glorious.

      Hey Rogue,

Have you driven your R1 Mini on the track? Any video of that?
