I'm a little torn, NASA has the same weekend at Sears Point. So do I spend the money and the fuel and drive 41/2 hours to Buttonwillow or 45 min to Sonoma?

I seen that, NASA just recently put that on the schedule out of left field. Only HPDE though, no racing or time trials.

Eh, I can't commit to it right away... my work schedule is all over the place. :/

I have two calendars saying I'm supposed to be in two different locations in during the month of Sept. ... Might be a very busy month for me.

So, we'll see.

no just playing ballast. We really can't afford to race this year. Saving up for the wifes classes coming up.

Matt, you WANT to do a NASA trackday. The instruction is invaluable. So far I've had Karen Salvaggio and Ryan Walton as my instructors . . . that's last year's SoCal FFR champ (who now is head of FFR's racing efforts) and the reigning SoCal AI champion. Even if you don't get a series champion, the people are really nice and the instruction makes learning the particular track so much easier.

Now if I didn't already have 2 wounded cars, I'd be looking at this event . . . granted there are already 2 autocrosses in September I'm planning on (OCCA Labor Day autox and Camarillo . . . wounded cars can still autocross)

I tried to go to the last in thunderhill and I ask here for any additional information after looking at the NASA site (like whos going? where to meet an so on) and I got crickets to? since I'm basically a Auto X guy I was looking for help from members here, from the guys who go to the bigger tracks? must be a secret handshake thing

Hey. NCRC has plenty of room on Sep 3rd at Thunderhill for racing. There is also some space left in the open class.

From what it looks like you will have most of the track to your self.

Just talked to Vince about that, he wont have my car ready by Sept 3rd

I was going to go but started to do stuff to my car. So in short, My car is not driveable at this time and I dont think I will be done by Friday.
