we are working hard to bring the "Bad Idea" 55. we have the fenders off and are rotating the mufflers 90* so that the fat part of the oval will be horizontal over the tire. we had it up and running the way it was but the car sat to hi and we were scraping on the mufflers with the tires in big g-out bumps. it looks good for the 55 at this point but if we fall short we will bring the wagon.

Got my dad registered; not sure what car he's bringing though. Maybe his '66 A-Prod race prepped Corvette, maybe a street car. I think he'll figure it out this weekend

Workin on it. May have to do a few late nights to get it prepped. It's ridiculous: 454 big block, turns 8K and makes 740 hp. It's the definition of overkill with the ice skates it's on

Well I'm gonna be out for this one. Car took a bit of a dump at Camrillo and I don't want to push my luck. I'm gonna see if Speed Ventures will refund my bucks today.

I'm in blue group. It should be pretty fun running around the track to see how " The Rat" handles, that is If I still have my car. I had a few really good offers on it this weekend and would like to sell it to pick up another car I have my eye on. If I keep it I'm going this weekend and going to run it as hard as I can. I would like to bump up to red for the last two sessions but we will see.

See you all there if I go.

The red 72 Chevelle in my PT Garage has a 396, 14.5 to 1. That engine was in my 67 Chevelle and spun the tires on the freeway at 65 mph at 7700 rpm. My kid about **** himself when I did it, lots of fun. The engine had a nick name "Big Nasty"
