HDPE 1 on Saturday is full. I was put on a waiting list so we will see what happens. I am trying to clear my schedule for Sunday the 22nd, they are having HDPE 1 on Sunday too.

Try HPDE 2 for Saturday. The only difference is you dont get an instructor. I could probably talk Albert or one of the other instructors to ride with you.

HDPE 2 is filled on both days. I am on the waiting list for Sat.

Question, I have low back Corbeaus buckets with no headrest, will these work, or do I need a headrest? Going to order my harness this week.

Hope you get in! Here is the NASA rulebook. See pg 44 for seats:
      http://www.nasaproracing.com/rules/ccr.pdf

Does not mention the height of the back of the seat or headrest.

It looks like seats wont be an issue as long as they are securely fastened. Good luck!!

Hmm, I have a wedding in Paso at 5, I could at least put in 3 sessions and still make it there right?

Unless you're in the wedding party the bride and groom will never know you missed the ceremony. That leaves at least 4, maybe all sessions, and slide into the recepetion just in time. I know if I was getting married I would understand!

Well I don't know where you guys signed up but it still looks like registration is closed. I now have breaks that stop like a summbitch and new gears for top speed and can't wait for the 21st at Thunderhill. I think I will give Aaron a call today. As for seat belts, you can use stock seat belts ( 3 point ) the big deal is a Snell 2005 helmet.

I most likely can't make this one either. Planning for another race in Utah the following weekend, which means the car leaves on tuesday and I'd rather not spend the extra coin re-prepping it. After the 1st weekend of Oct, I should have a lot more time to go do more HPDE stuff though

I am currently trying to work a deal with a company by the name of Vision Wells. What they do is set up in car video that will display video of driver and road course in a split window, but the real cool addition to that is that you will see a display at the bottom of the video through satelite imaging of where your at on the course, lap times, speeds in mph, exceleration and deceleration table, and lateral g's.

First off, he is going to have to get Speed Ventures to allow him to be there. If that happens he tells me that he will need at least a minimum of 10 drivers to commit.

I know times are tough and this is a service that I shouldn't even be spending money on but do any of you think that you would be interested?

He will be sending me links to samples of what he does and I will be posting them shortly.

Here is a link to a sample of his work.

He would like to do 2 session packages for $125 but I am trying to see if he will do single session for $60.

      What do you think?
