What keeps that forward torque arm bolt from eating up that slotted hole as it slides around?

Any plans for Mopar? I've talked to you before about cutting up a Chevy/Ford kit to make it work on a Mopar-Challenger specifically.

      ???

      Thanks, Wes

Good question. The only thing that I can think is that it uses the inner side of the leaf spring mount on the car, but not sure.

      ^^^^This

Here is a pre-production unit that was installed on the car a few months back.

No plans for the Mopars as of right now. The T/A is still available by itself though.

      TCI Torque Arm

Hi Here some answers to some of the question that are posted

1 Torque Arm slider adjustment on crossmember
The slot was designed for wheel base adjustmentS. with the 1/2" bolt and 1.280" slot that leaves about 5/8" adjustment to center the wheels.

      2. The telescoping slider end has 1 1/4" of travel . When we cycled the suspension from full droop to full bump the slider only moved .200". The arm itself is a lever trying to go up. The two side bars do not allow the rearend to come forward anymore than the .200" plus the small amount of deflection in the bushings.

      3. The lower bars are in double shear brackets up front. We used half of the stock spring hanger and made a bolt on bracket to support the opposite side. The subframe connectors are mounted directly in front supporting any forces coming from the two lower bars.

      OOOOOHHHHH yeahhhhhhh

The 2nd Gen is next on the chopping block. Both front and rear kits will be available later this year possibly early next year.

Some guys on Steve's Nova Site had some concerns about stock gas tank clearance so I took some more pics.

The rear most point of the kit is the panhard bar but it hangs below the tank even at full compression. The coilover crossmember was the only concern when making enough clearance for the tank and there is plenty.

This measurement is from the axle centerline to the back of the coilover crossmember.

This is from the back of the pumpkin to the panhard bar. I had to lean the camera angle back a little but it was right at 3"

That would be pretty good timing for me. Hopefully you can figure out a way to get the exhaust out the back.

What are the chances you will be able to adapt the 2nd gen to a 12 bolt. Having to change rears really increases the price of this suspension. I'm thinking a thick plate that is sandwiched between rear end cover and housing. Would need some gussets and need engineering.

It's a little early yet to tell on the 2nd Gen but it wasn't a problem for our '68, but it has an aftermarket tank.

Making a 12 Bolt compatible kit isn't out of the question at this point. Only time will tell but we are getting a few inquiries about it.

      Wheel and tire

Will this interfere with a DSE mini tub in the rear of a 62 nova?

You will have to modify part of our coilover crossmember because two of the four mounting flanges sit outside of the frame rail.

Here is a pic of the piece I am talking about.

UMMM LOVE IT!!!! The main question is how wide a tire i am looking at a 305/35 tire 9" housing about 4" narrower per side.. Looks like it wouldn't work whats the widest confirmed tire size? realizing i would have to modify the crossmember where it attachs to the stock rails.. as i ll be moving my rails in to the flush part of the inner rail if that makes sense...
YAY!!!!!! i found my first car now time to cut the crap outta it!!!! But this time with more than a pair of tin snips like when i was 16........... Just love the stuff..........

You can fit a 10" wheel(305 tire) with a little trimming of the frame rail lip and the lip on our crossmember.

The width of the axle won't have any effect on how wide a wheel/tire you can run so long as the back space is proper.
