No, that's not normal. Did you check the dipstick? Pull the valve cover? That's a normally a sign of coolant/water mixed into the oil. Now, unless you've got a head gasket issue, it could be just an amazing amount of moisture in the engine from sitting. Check the oil in the pan.

      Your car hates you!
Just a drive around the block every 4 months is not doing your car any favors. When the engine starts running and gets warmed up, the temp differential causes a certain amount of condensation. You are not driving the car far enough to burn this moisture out of the engine. Drive it!
If it was a coolant leak, the oil would look like a vanilla milkshake.
Burn some fuel...burn some rubber...burn the moisture = success!

I'm thinking it is just condensation like mentioned above.

on a side note: Exhaust pipes/mufflers rust prematurely on cars that only see short drives due to the fact that the exhaust doesn't have time enough to dry up all of the condensation created by the combustion process.

You should also have a garage or radiator shop do a compression check on the cooling system, if the system leaks down they should be able to pinpoint the leak, if coolant is leaking into the engine at the best it will be a leaking intake gasket around the water outlet port, at worst it will be a blown head gasket or cracked cylinder head

I had the same problem and I was running heavy racing oil when I noticed it. I contacted Pennzoil and they explained to me that if I did not get my engine up to operating temp every time with heavy weight oil that this would happen. I also noticed a lot of condensation as well. I switch back to 10w40w and no longer have any problems.
