I wouldn't sweat the weather. They never get the forecasts right here, and when it rains... it will RARELY hold all day.

See you guys in a bit.

I don't mind it being wet, but I certainly don't like getting rained on. :(

I am working on talking the wife into going next year, so please post lots of pics so I can show her. Especially your wifes so she is reassured that there will be people that she can talk to too.

The last couple days I have worked my wife pretty hard. She has been helping me wrench to get ready. Last night was tuning the new carb and the night before was installing a shift kit in the 200-4R. All with a cast on! Should have taken pictures of that.

Well, it looks like I'm going to be a spectator this weekend. I have not chased down this ignition problem yet and I am running out of time. And no, unbelievably it is not the opti. There is a problem in the ignition control modeule circuit and I think that I've eliminated everything expect for a broken wire somewhere in the wiring harness. Unless I find it very quickly tomorrow after work, I don't think that I'm going to have time to disassemble the wiring harness to find the problem in time to be ready Satrurday morning. But I will be there cheering the muscle cars on regardless.

We're stopped in Cleveland, Tenn. for the night and should be at Main Stay around 11 for the start of the run.

We'll be leaving here in a few hours. We are going to just head directly to Keisler on the way down and then on to Pigeon Forge.

It was a blast to ride with all the cars today (and trucks too HectorM52!!) ...
I was very happy with the overall performance of the Buick today, This was the farthest it's been driven at one time since I bought it. The tires shocked me on how well they griped the road in the rain..

Hey I brought my wife this year, actually it is our anniversy this weekend , this was my gift from her.
Not the the trip itself or even coming here, she rode with me on the dragon.
Im with MIGOAT on the extra brake, my car sounded like it had those high powered stereos in it lots of BASS, "BOOM,BOOM" from her hitting the imginary brake on her side of the car floor.

There was several wives in attendance.

My wife and tommycomfort's wife( yep she had on a cast) did some talking, and we managed to hook up with a few other couples.

I would like say a BIGGG THANKS to a couple of people, to Bill Howell for the use of his shop to replace my steering box.

And to Scott W aka xxxturbo6 for helping me change it out, and to the others providing moral support, it was great to meet you all.,,HectorM52.... Brett from air ride, and others.. I just can remember.

The ride was awesome, my car handled well, steered well, hadn't had good decent steering in awhile.

Danm you guys ..now you got me thinking what i hafta do to get my ride more suited to handle better.

All the rides there where impressive!!!

I had a great time as well!

Bill thank you again for your awesome hospitality and putting everything together.

If anyone was around Adam's truck (HectorM52) during any of the cruise or ran the Auto X I am sure I have pictures of your car. PM me w/ your email address and what car you had and I'll send you pics. Had to leave early due to family so I don't have any drag pics.

Hmmmm, sounds familiar. I had my wife shotgun and mom in the backseat. (mom is 73) but really they don't say much. However, on the way back from Keisler's, on one of them back roads, the car got extremely out of shape (unintentional of course) and there was dead silence for several miles.

Had a awesome time . Every body was great, I ran the dragon in my ex drag car that still has the 10 gal. cell. I had an extra 2 gal can of gas just in case. I used it & still come up about 4 miles short of getting to the end of the foothills pkwy. Thanks to Michael & his friend for watching my car when they got to it ,while their wonderful wives that took us to get gas. It was a great week end & had lots of fun with all of you. I have been to all the runs so far . I also had fun kicking Bills Charger around some also. I think the Goat may have felt neglected this week end. Looking forward to next year.
