      Me and David

Will be getting into Pigeon Forge around 12:00 or 1:00 Thursday. We will be staying at the Mainstay. We will be the guys with the big smiles driving Camaros, that should narrow it down. LOL

Anyone else coming in on Thursday?

      My cell is 704-564-8577

      Hey Payton

I will be there Thursday, of course I am leaving this Sunday to travel to Newport to work. So I will be about 40 minutes from there. My wife and friends will be there later that night. My State Farm agent and her husband are coming. My wife and Beth are the ones passing out the Jello shots in GA. Did David get his car finished? We will see you there.

The guy doing his interior is the same guy

that did mine. Only difference is that he really has not put much time in the car. Has had it for over 2 months and still not done. David picked up the car the other day, having the roll bar re-sprayed. The trunk is done, carpet finished. He will put the headliner in after the roll bar repaint.

The black car should be there...nice looking ride!

What is the state farm agent's name?

Will y'all be at the Mainstay? Ron will be there again with the blue Mustang

We will be staying at the Mainstay. The agency is actually owned by Bennet Deane. Our friend Beth Simmons works there. They are coming up with my wife Emily Thursday night. I am working over in Waterville for 6 weeks, so I am bringing my car with me. They are going to take it back after the RTTH5.
When folks come down I40 Thursday at the NC/TN border blow your horn, I will be taking a Hydro Turbine apart at the power plant on the river. We had to wait for rafting season to end.
Well I have to back outside, I am finishing up my power steering swap on my beat up Camaro. The manual steering sucked in the autocross in GA.

Looking forward to a great time!!

Cool deal.. I think my car is already there at Yancy's house. My new PS2 tires arrive today so right now it's rolling on R888s.

Weather looks good, not too hot and no rain predicted for Friday and Saturday... Lets hope it holds!

      I would be shocked

if a weather forecast a week out in the mountians would hold. They can't get it right on a day to day basis here.

On a seperate note. Who is the guy in Fl that puts the cover shot onto a metal sign? Saw a picture the Gulbranson had hanging in his garage and he said you gave him the name and number.

So you are putting on PS2's for the event? Are you leaving the R888's for me to take home. LOL

That can't predict weather around here worth a damn. We have had a fairly wet summer, but its way to early to take the rain forecasts seriously.

My guy out here (Scott at Swifty Sign) can do it. And I can get him the PDF file. But any sign shop can do it, and I can get you the high res of the cover

      Forecasting weather

out there must be like dressing Johnny Cash..Do I wear the dark black today or the medium black?

I do not care who does it, but would love a couple of signs. Hit me with his number and when you have time send him over the high res of the cover. I assume that is the way the cover was printed with all the writing and other caption pics?

To Bill or anyone else in the know:

What is the contingency if it rains at the autocross? SCCA usually runs anyway unless there is lightning.

Ditto.......... on a side note, the car is together and running well. No last minute thrash feels strange.

Frank says my car should be there...Dunno what I'll be able to participate in as I won't be arriving till about 6-7pm friday and have to leave late saturday, but even if I just get to sit in my car all day and make vroom vroom noises I'll be happy.
