      new project...70 Duster

I picked this thing up over the weekend....It's a 70 Duster, slant six but the guy gave a 360 with the car. I've never been a MOPAR guy so this will be a fun learning experience. The body needs very little work and is rust free. My wife had one of these in HS so I figured that I would build it for her. It will be a very low budget build, just body/paint basic suspension upgrades / lowering, 17" wheels, engine swap and interior (I say this now...lol). The best part is the guy just wanted rid of it so I got it for the low, low, low price of $0!

      Anyway, what do you think:

I'll give you $50.00, a case of Canadian beer, and I'll come and get it. lol
Looks like a good score. How is the undercarriage?

If there is a hard way to do something, I'll find it!

quick update....i've been going kind of slow but I have the old /6 six pulled and am starting to tear the front suspension apart for rebuild and disc brake swap, next is the rear end which I will picking up shortly as well.

The 360 is torn down and ready for the machine shop and 727 is going in for work as well.

To think I was looking for one when I found my 70 Camaro and you get one free. Rock out with the build. Its all an investment when the car is free.

I don't know you, but I hate you . I will think of a valid reason later.(LOL joke) Great score. My dad had a 72' 340 Duster 4speed. When I was growing up. I totally loved that car.

Sweet deal! And to think I had to pay $200 for mine and pull it out of the junk yard!

BTW.. If your gonna be shaving those turn signal indicators(on top of the fender) when you paint it, I'd be interested in them as I have been looking for some for my duster.

Awesome project! Keep the updates coming.
