      Autometer kit for 70+ Camaro

Does anyone know if Autometer makes a kit for my 71 Camaro? I thought I saw a kit that includes a tach, speedo, fuel level, volts, oil pressure, and temp gauges. I was wondering if anyone knew if they still had them?

I just finished installing the covan dash tonight, but I used a set of custom gauges from a company called Speedhut. They have a lot of options.

      here is a pic.

At night they are cobalt blue numbers and bright red pointer on a black back drop.

they all have programmable LED warning lights a low and high setting.

That panel was a custom build. Autometer phantoms in a Covan dash (this part I would not repeat- I'd go with a piece of aluminum- IMO, Covans wants too much for their product- charges you out the a** for a a thin piece of vacuum formed plastic. I WAS disappointed when it arrived, but I was on a timeline...) LED's for turn, brake, Oil Pressure (in addition to gauge), high beam.

Changes were addition of a face level vent where the wiper/headlight switch was (I did it because I had A/C- but I'd also doit if I only had flow through). Wiper and headlight were moved to lower dash.

That's how I want mine to look. I really like that Chad. Did you build this yourself? I would like to see your console, I see a dvd unit in the corner of the pic. Any pics of the whole car? I really like seeing other guy's cars, it gives me ideas on what to put together for my car. I'm not trying to copy other cars just put my spin on great ideas. Thanks for all the help guys I really appreciate it. This site is really helpful. I'm glad I found it.

I did it myself. It was pretty easy. I just made a template out of poster board transfered it to aluminum and cut the holes and bent it. The gauges are autometer and for wiring I just used the painless wiring gauge kit. It was really easy. Good eye on the dvd screen. I used to have it with an alpine deck in the pic but I recently put in a jvc dvd player in. There are more pics here if you want to check them out.

Here's mine. It's made from a piece of aluminum. I got it from a member over on Nastyz28.com, but he doesn't make them anymore. He does have the template for them though. You can get that here. http://hizandherz2.00page.com/7078DIYBEZEL.htm
