Unless I and half the people who have tried are missing something, there is no option on instagram to share things the way you are saying we have to. It's not like facebook where you just copy/share other people's stuff to your page, they got rid of "re-gramming". That's why nobody is doing it right; what you are asking doesn't appear to be possible. You are trying to run a Facebook-style rules promo on Instgram. A post can be shared to a story (the crap at the top) but not a page, at least not without doing something like this https://www.google.com/search?q=shar...s+on+instagram, which is nonsense to expect of people.
Instead of repeatedly having to tell people they are doing it wrong, perhaps it is worth considering it might not be possible to do it right.
Again, maybe I'm missing something and I apologize if so.

I was able to share using these instructions

To share someone's post from Feed to your story:

Tap (the arrow/paper airplane looking icon) below the photo or video in Feed
Tap Add post to your story

Keep in mind that when you share someone's post to your story, anyone who views it can see who originally posted it and can view the original account.

Re-posting and sharing a page to your personal instagram page does require an app. There are many that can be downloaded from your phone. I personally use one called InstaSave. Copy the link from Instagram and Paste it into the App. There is actually a method to our madness. We're not trying to make it hard on you. We are however, trying to get the word out about the contest so that many of you guys can participate instead of just a few that happen to come across it in a feed. We hope that you are able to participate.

Ahmad, the reason for requiring repost is to get the word out about the contest so that many of you guys can participate instead of just a few that happen to come across it in a feed. No problem, if you don't want to participate, but those are the rules and the reason that rule is in place. Thanks.
