Car looks amazing! Wish I could find someone to do that work here in the PNW! Thank you for sharing the Spoiler by Randy! Last I checked he wasn't going to make one for early 2nd gens! I didn't know it existed, getting a Money order out tomorrow!

What made you go with the later rear spoiler ends vs the early style?

Since its not really a 1971 Formula(fake) I liked the later spoiler on the car...Its a Carbon fiber trunk lid and center spoiler, its the ends that are odd and they dont quite line up right... Im also struggling with the hood.. the hood is not aligning like I want, and is driving me nuts!!

I think the likely issue with the hood is that the crown has sagged and has widened the hood and therefore spread the hinge mounting points. This causes the hinge to bind because it no longer lines up with the hinge mounts on the fender. The use of billet hinges which have no clearance between the hinge arms compounds the issue. Factory hinges would likely be more forgiving. The construction techniques used on this hood suck. It is incredibly heavy while at the same time structurally weak. Flat steel pop riveted to the inner structure as a bandaid fix which adds very little strength. Of course it goes without saying I am just talking through my hat here....

Don, is the man, he has spent alot of time to get this hood right(not to mention the car).. he has 2 hoods and both are showing the same issue..the billet hinges are not forgiving at all.. but we think we have a way to solve the issue, fingers crossed...The thing about Don is he is even MORE anal than I am.. He is a perfectionist, the car looks amazing in the sun, the side is just as smooth as I could have ever hoped..SUPER HAPPY WITH CAR!!

Want to know how anal about his work Don is.. We were going over the car and all of it looked great, he kept telling me there is always something that can be better... so I just mentioned some small imperfection on the radiator support.. He went and re-did the support.. Don, you are the BEST!!

OK, enough already Kevin. I said I'd give you a nice clean driver and that is what I think I delivered. There are far more talented guys on these forums doing far better work. But I am glad you are happy with it. Looking forward to seeing you drive the wheels off it...

For those of you who don't know Kevin he has an awesome collection of cars and a real love of cars. And yes, he does look like his avatar.... LOL....
