      Looking great!

Couple of questions if I may, what brand and how tall is the intake? How much clearance do you have to the hood?

I am trying to figure out if an LSA will fit in my 71 Formula!

      Thanks,
      Stan

It wont with a Formula hood, and 99% sure it wont fit a T/A hood either.....This current intake is at the very limit.. the LSA hat is the issue.. if you used a Maggie... you might be ok... Im doing a 1970 Z/28 also, and didnt want to swap to a cowl hood, and it wont clear that for sure..

      Kevin,

Another couple quick questions if I may.
What brand is the intake you are using, and Have you looked into the LT4 fitting under the hood?

      Thanks,
      Stan

Its a ebay intake.. just a sheetmetal one.. its a nice unit for what I needed.. They have 2 styles, tall and short.. tall doesnt fit(ask me how I know) but the short seems to work.. funny you say LT4, for my 70 Z/28, Ive been talking to Don, and Im gonna try and see if it will work.

Hey what wheels do you have on your car? I've been looking for open spoke wheels but didn't like the curved spoke version, at least until I saw them mounted on a real car.

It looks like you have the DSE Wiper Motor. Every time I check they are out of stock for the recessed park. Is there another source for a similar motor?

Summit racing had one if I remember correctly.. I try 3 or 4 places, summit, Matts Classic Bowtie, DSE themselves and believe or not ebay.. I ask them before buying if in stock

You know I find that the cars I've built over the years are a learning process.. but more than that I have found I really don't like people

In my garage I can work on my cars in AC, have the 55 inch TV on, or music, I have a lazy boy and a wooden rocker for the wife, I have a fridge and bar stool table.. it's everything I need.. my wife comes in and hangs out with me, I work on the cars on the weekend and it's extremely therapeutic.. I loose all sense of time.. I'm just here.. if I'm not doing this I would be in the house, or god forbid out with people in public, doing public people things( even car shows are way to opinionated now..) I just like the build.. I look forward to the challenges, I enjoy going over the Dons house, or going to my buddies shop who does the exhaust and tuning.. so as I start to look at the finished product it's cool.. it's fun, but than I think now what.. than I get the itch, on to the next build just a rant... but thought I would share..
